I, of course, do not proclaim this book as a replacement for reading James Madison's notes, the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers, or any other more challenging primary source materials on the subject.  However, if you are just looking to get your "feet wet" in American history or are looking to re-kindle a flame for freedom  in yourself or your child, this would be a good place to start.
